REQUIREMENTS
-
Your training depends on your participation. Students are expected to have 100% attendance and participation to all scheduled training sessions; however, we understand that Participant(s) have important commitments outside of YTT Program. Should extenuating circumstances impact attendance, Participant(s) are permitted to miss up to (2) days of trainings/sessions without consequence. We encourage Participants to engage with the missed course material via YTT Program Leads, fellow YTT Participants and /or the Manual. All missed YTT Program Tuesday night “Philosophy Sessions” in particular MUST be made up as all recordings will be made available to Participants. In addition to watching a “Philosophy Session” recording if missed, Participant(s) must also write (1) 200 word essay on the Session’s topic. ****Each Participant is expected to be at each training/session (5) minutes before the start of the training/session; if Participant is tardy to any training/session more than (3) times, there is a 1 HR deduction from Participant’s total training hours and must be made up by Participant.
If a Participant needs to miss more than (2) days of any YTT Program training, they must speak directly to the Studio prior to the beginning of the training(s). These absences may be made up if Studio has available YTT Program Leads and Venue availability at the rate of $30 per hour. Participants recognize that, if they miss more than 2 training days outside a documented medical emergency and have not made up training/sessions, they will not graduate from the program.
-
Certification is contingent upon successful completion of all YTT Program requirements as expressed above, demonstration of teaching competency, and adherence to the Studio’s code of conduct as outlined in the YTT Manual.
